Advantages

Within our range of PCB Prototyping machines, you will find the 4Mill300 and 4mill 300ATC. These are compact but very accurate milling machines that enable the user to make test boards within their own lab. Both single and double-sided, from very simple to the most complex UFT boards and antennas. All this without the use of any harmful and smelly chemicals. Having a 4Mill300 machine in your lab also saves you the time and hassle of ordering test PCBs from external suppliers. It also eliminates the risk of your new design falling into the wrong hands.

We are committed to the high reliability of our equipment, which is why we only use domestic suppliers for the manufacture of machine parts; sensitive parts such as spindles, lead screws and linear guides are manufactured in Germany to the highest quality standards.

Why choose our 4Mill300 PCB Prototyping machines?

Robust construction
ROBUST CONSTRUCTION BRINGS INCOMPARABLE STABILITY  High-precision engraving and milling can only be done on a machine that has the necessary mass to absorb any vibrations. The 4Mill300 PCB machines are made of machine steel that has been straight milled after production. The machine base is one solid piece, there are no screw connections or anything else that could compromise stability. The result is a 40 kg machine that still looks elegant and is very accurate and small.

FLAT MILLED ALUMINIUM WORKTABLE  The milling quality is strongly determined by the material and the stability of the milling table. In the 4Mill300 machines this table is made of 20mm thick, flat milled aluminium which is equipped with an alignment system for milling double-sided printed circuit boards. It is important to note that this aluminium table is made in such a way that a vacuum table can be easily mounted on it (available separately).

SPINDLE MOTOR

All our machines are equipped with high precision spindle motors, at the 400Mill 300 series they have the following specifications:

4Mill300

Variable speed between 5000 -60.000 RPM3-phase high-speed brushless motor with lifetime lubricated bearings4.5 Ncm Torque suitable for milling workChuck clamping range 0,3 – 4.0 mm (Standard delivered with 1/8”) Run-out ≤ 1.5 μmVery easy tool change by means of a clamping knob

4Mill300ATC

Variable speed between 6000 -60.000 RPM3-phase high-speed brushless motor with lifetime lubricated bearings8.4 Ncm Torque suitable for milling workChuck clamping range 0,3 – 4.0 mm (Standard delivered with 1/8”) Run-out ≤ 1.0 μmAutomatic tool change (pneumatic)

PRECISE DEPTH ADJUSTMENT Micron-precise milling depth adjustment allows highly accurate isolation routing, slotting, and drilling without the risk of excessive material removal. This technology enables reliable milling of very fine structures for SMD, RF, and HDI PCBs, where precise depth control is essential. Besides the above mentioned, precise depth setting ensures optimal tool load, increasing tool lifespan and reducing consumable costs.

HIGH WORKING SPEED  4mill300 machines can work very fast thanks to state of the art embedded software and electronics. The milling and drilling speed is controlled automatically via our CAM software TrackMaker. This speed depends on the tool used and the work to be performed. For example, holes smaller than 0.8mm are usually drilled at speeds of approximately 120 holes per minute and large holes of, for example, 3mm at 30 holes per minute.

TRACKMAKER

The best CAM software for PCB prototyping on the market

The main advantage of our software is its unrivalled ease of use. Unlike other software on the market, TrackMaker is designed to be completely user friendly, meaning that no previous CNC programming knowledge is required. Users can start milling immediately without the steep learning curve associated with other systems.  Intuitive user interface simplifies PCB preparation - Competitive software often requires complex manual adjustments, whereas TrackMaker automates the entire process.

TrackMaker allows direct import from KiCad, Eagle and other EDA tools - unlike some competing software that requires additional conversion steps, TrackMaker allows smooth data import and easy Gerber/Excellon file processing.
Automatic milling strategy recommendation - Competitive systems often require manual selection of milling parameters, whereas TrackMaker intelligently suggests the best milling method and tooling, saving time and reducing errors.
Automated tool change prompts - the software alerts the user when it's time to change tools, eliminating errors and ensuring process continuity.
Guided double-sided milling - TrackMaker provides clear instructions for flipping the board, eliminating common alignment errors found in competing solutions.

NO CHEMICALS
Environmentally friendly and economical: MIPEC offers a dry PCB prototyping process that is both environmentally friendly and economically viable. With our machines, handling chemicals for etching, developing or striping is a thing of the past.
PCB milling is a clean, non-chemical process that doesn't require special environmental conditions. Mipec PCB milling machines can be easily installed in any laboratory or designer's office, making them ideal for complete in-house PCB prototyping.

SAVE MONEY  In-house PCB prototyping using Mipec PCB milling machines significantly reduces the time and cost associated with outsourcing PCB production. Any design changes or new PCB designs can be instantly transferred to the CNC machine, allowing milling, drilling and cutting to take place within minutes. Combined with SMT prototyping tools, boards can be populated and tested in a very short time.
